ABOUT ME
I am a chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society and HCPC and a Couples Counsellor with Relate. I have worked in the NHS for some 15 years and the private sector for 5 plus years across Drug & Alcohol Services, Eating Disorder Service, Primary Care counselling and Young People's counselling services.
I principally work from an integrative position and can offer a range of psychological interventions including brief intervention and longer term therapy.
I offer an initial assessment appointment to gain a good overview of the difficulties you are experiencing and your thoughts on the type of help you are seeking. From this we will decide on the type of approach which may be most helpful for you.
Online appointments can also be arranged.

COUPLES THERAPY
Relationships can often be overlooked in our busy lives. Sometimes couples need a safe space to talk and a neutral person to help them back into loving connections. If you’re looking to improve your relationship or develop different ways to manage challenging dynamics or circumstances then couples counselling can support you.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
In my therapy sessions, we’ll work together to understand your difficulties and the challenges you face. We will work towards reducing your psychological distress and promoting your well-being.
From the initial assessment we will decide on the best intervention for you.
YOUNG PEOPLE'S THERAPY
Young people face unique challenges at what can be a precious time in their development. Most young people access therapy through parents, so we will devise a confidentiality agreement between young person and therapist which may include some family sessions where appropriate. This can enhance the overall psychological well-being of the young person but also family cohesion.
